Rooftop Architecture Film Series: Tiny

Tiny, 2013, follows one couple’s attempt to build a “tiny house” from scratch and profiles other families who have downsized their lives into homes smaller than the average parking space. Through homes stripped down to their essentials, this documentary from filmmakers Merete Mueller and Christopher Smith raises questions about the nature of home, good design, and the changing American Dream. With an introduction by Professor Dumpster, also known as Environmental Science professor Dr. Jeff Wilson, who will share his experience living a year in the ultimate tiny house: a 33-square-foot dumpster as part of The Dumpster Project.
