Abstract Expressionist Painting

In this workshop students will explore a variety of approaches to abstract expressionist painting. Topics that will be explored will include gestural paint application, mark making, experimental painting tools, and strategies for creating abstract compositions. Alongside studio projects students will be exposed to a variety of artists to serve as inspiration for their own works.
