ART SCHOOL / CLASS LISTINGS

Creating with Collage (online)

Adults

Collage is a playful art form that invites you to layer images, materials and ideas into one compelling composition. This mixed-level course welcomes both beginners and experienced artists.

Demonstrations and exercises will guide you through the process of sourcing materials, building strong compositions, and expressing your own visual voice. You will experiment with how elements like color, scale, and texture affect your design. We’ll cover structural strategies as well as intuitive, spontaneous methods. By the end of the four weeks, you’ll have a set of techniques to continue your practice outside class, and a strengthened capacity for creative exploration.

What to expect:

  • Two hours of instruction and demonstrations
  • One hour of optional open studio to put techniques into practice and create collages
  • One-on-one instructor feedback
  • Access to class slideshow presentation
  • Recordings of each class session
  • Mar 4–Mar 25 (Wed) 6:00 PM–9:00 PM
    [3168E] Erin Schwinn– 4 sessions
