Drawing in a Series

Adults

Students will select an object, either man made or from nature, to use as a source for a group of drawings that function as a series. Through permutation, progression and succession students will create a set of drawings that are characterized by repetition and coherence. Working in a series can be a wonderful way to explore a theme, subject, or idea, create a visual narrative, and build a progressive body of work.
