Drawing with Charcoal (online)

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class will teach you how to use charcoal to create dramatic, expressive works of art. In this class, you’ll explore the fundamentals of drawing with charcoal, from basic techniques like blending and layering, to more advanced skills like creating intricate details and dramatic compositions.

You’ll learn how to handle different types of charcoal, techniques for achieving realistic shading, highlights, and textures, how to create depth and volume through light and shadow, and how to fix and preserve your charcoal artwork. This class will provide you not only a solid understanding of how to incorporate this new medium into your art practice but empower you to explore new creative possibilities and express yourself with charcoal.
