Explorations in Abstract Art
Age 6–8
Use a variety of media including watercolor, oil/chalk pastels, and color pencil to produce an exciting array of two-dimensional abstract art. We will explore the concept of “abstract” by looking at examples from Nature and learning about notable artists such as Georgia O'Keefe, Matisse, Hilma Af Klint and Kandinsky.
