Painterly Printmaking

Adults

Bring a little of the unknown into your work as you explore the process of monotype. Students will use printing ink to create painterly images on plexiglass plates using drawing and painting techniques with tools that range from paintbrushes and brayers to cotton balls and cut-out stencils. Then you will transfer your images to paper with our printing press and layer your painterly prints to create dynamic and colorful images. The results may surprise you! No experience necessary.
