Representational Watercolor

Explore composition, form, value, and color mixing through painting objects in a realistic style. Students will create work with a traditional approach to still life, as well as using the more contemporary approach of photo references. Thoughtful painting prompts, critique, demos, and a bit of art history will all be incorporated. Familiarity with watercolor is ideal for this course, but beginners are always welcome.
