Watercolor Composition

Adults

This class is for students who want to develop their ideas for some original compositions and explore elements and principles of design to help them decide on a subject and shape it into a watercolor painting that 'works.'

We'll explore using conceptual tools like contrast, harmony, dominance, and balance to bring the experience of the image alive for viewers – and more exciting for the creators, too!

The instructor will work with students individually in the shaping, tweaking, and/or troubleshooting of their pictures in every stage – from thumbnails to final art. Some watercolor experience is recommended.
