NEW! Learn how to tackle portraiture in watercolor! This complex subject will be broken down into a manageable process starting with value and basic anatomical structure. From there, this course will cover color mixing for skin tone, the nuances of the face at different ages, composition for portrait painting, implying hair texture and more. Photo references will be provided for first time Watercolor Portrait students. Repeat students are welcome to paint subjects of their choosing. Guidance and critique will be provided to those attendees.

This course focuses on painting; base drawings will be done using a transfer method. No drawing experience is required.

Basic watercolor experience is strongly encouraged.
