Austin’s premier new music percussion ensemble, line upon line, performs a concert inspired by Monika Sosnowska’s monumental metal sculptures, created for her exhibition Habitat.

Inspired by a range of metal sounds, the hour-long program includes Steve Reich’s Drumming Part 1, Jason Hoogerhyde’s Revolve/Retract, Pablo Vergara’s Engraving on bronze, and Steve Snowden’s Van Gogh From Space.

This evening of contemporary music in the galleries provides a rare multisensory experience with contemporary art before the exhibition closes on February 26.
