An Absurd Lecture: The Art of John Bock Meets the Art of Improv
Senior Curator Heather Pesanti unpacks topics of humor and absurdity in the history of art, tracing it to present examples within John Bock’s exhibition.
The Hideout Theatre will perform live comedy inspired by Bock’s artwork and Pesanti’s discussion—a one-time, original improvised performance paying homage to Bock’s work and the art world at large.
