Presented by Co-Lab Projects

Pop-Up @ Canopy

Artist Angelbert Metoyer works across mediums including painting, sculpture, performance, and video and sound art, his explorations acting as a powerful conduit to ancestral memory, essential archetypes, and “the language of religion.”

Featured prominently in The Contemporary Austin’s exhibition Strange Pilgrims, Metoyer also presents a new installation for Co-Lab Projects Pop-Up @ Canopy.

Life Machine includes video from ongoing gathered footage along with mirrors, clothing, and other personal objects bearing the traces of the human body, personality, and spirit. On view October 3–31 at Canopy.
