Camp Contemporary transforms Laguna Gloria’s lush fourteen acres into an elevated evening camp for adults with artist-led workshops, live music, late-night festivities, and so much more!
All proceeds directly benefit The Contemporary Austin’s Education Fund and help bring free art education to thousands of community members across Central Texas, including K-12 tours, Art School scholarships, and outreach to underserved youth.
Camp Contemporary is rain or shine! Casual, comfortable, camp-inspired attire encouraged.

Getting to the Event
There will be limited street parking available on 35th St. For event access, please park in the TXDOT lot at 3500 Jackson Avenue and take advantage of our free and convenient event shuttles to get you to Camp and back quickly and safely. Shuttles will be available from 3P to 11P and will drop off at Laguna Gloria's main gate.
From Southbound Mopac: Exit Mopac at 35th Street, head east on 35th St, then take a left onto Jackson Avenue. The TXDOT parking area will be located on your immediate left.
From Northbound Mopac: Exit Mopac at 35th Street. Continue straight through the traffic light onto Jackson Avenue. The TXDOT parking area will be located on your immediate left.
Ride shares may drop off and pick up at the Laguna Gloria entrance.
