Create at Home: Storytime with Emma

Since we can't welcome you to the museum for our monthly Second Saturdays Are for Families program, we invite you to create at home with us! Each week, we'll post a supply list, followed by a step-by-step activity guide to make an artistic creation with materials found in your own home.

We are excited to announce our new monthly Storytime art making sessions, created specifically with our younger viewers in mind! This week, Education Assistant Emma reads Tokyo Digs a Garden, by Jon-Erik Lappano, and guides us through a "nature portrait" activity!

Keep your eyes peeled on Friday, June 26 on our Facebook and Instagram for a full video featuring storytime with Emma, plus a step-by-step guide to this week's art making activity! You can also visit thecontemporaryaustin.org/digital/create for more information and past projects!

In the meantime, let the search for your materials begin!
