Museum members: We invite you to preview and celebrate our newest exhibition, IN A DREAM YOU SAW A WAY TO SURVIVE AND YOU WERE FULL OF JOY, before it opens to the public!
This group exhibition features eight artists whose work explores how narrative and storytelling shape our senses of self, community, history, and identity. With a title referencing a text by the prominent feminist artist Jenny Holzer, the exhibition includes works by Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley, Adriana Corral, Ellie Ga, Juliana Huxtable, Tala Madani, Danielle Mckinney, Wendy Red Star, and Clare Rojas.
Explore works in wide-ranging media including painting, video, installation, and more. Then celebrate with us on the Moody Rooftop with complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres, plus a special live performance by Bleached Roses. Members will receive 2 drink tickets.
