Ai Weiwei Public Opening and Family Day at Waller Delta

Celebrate the arrival of two new sculptures by Chinese artist and activist Ai Weiwei in Austin!

Enjoy free refreshments and art activities for all ages, and check out the mesmerizing installation Forever Bicycles, on view at the Waller Delta, 74 Trinity Street near the Boathouse. This work is presented as part of The Contemporary Austin's ongoing collaboration with Waller Creek Conservancy and the Museum Without Walls program.

Ai Weiwei's Iron Tree Trunk is also on view at The Contemporary's Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria, with free admission today, June 3.

Parking at Waller Delta: Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, take public transportation, or rideshare. Bike racks will be on-site. No parking is available on Trinity St. south of Cesar Chavez.
