Fieldwork Artist Performance: Erik DeLuca

The Contemporary Austin presents artists, curators, and researchers in residence with Fieldwork: Marfa, an international researcher-in-residence program coordinated by ESBA Nantes Métropole and HEAD-Genève.

Sound artist, composer, and scholar Erik Deluca explores field engagement as an interdisciplinary theory and practice for making sound art, music, and ethnographic compositions. Deluca presents a new 40-minute musical work featuring pianist Charlie Magnone, followed by a Q&A.
