Open for Discussion

View Janine Antoni and Anna Halprin's exhibition, Paper Dance, then come together for a group conversation exploring the major themes of Antoni’s work: motherhood, identity, and absence. Discussion facilitated by community partner Kelsey Oliver, freelance choreographer and performer, and Artistic Director of Frank Wo/Men Collective. You need not be an art expert; just come curious to learn from each other and share your own perspective.

Event is free with recommended ticket reservation. Walk-ups welcome.

Kelsey Oliver, an Austin native, is a freelance choreographer and performer interested in experimental theatre, film, and concert dance. She is currently Artistic Director of physical theatre troupe Frank Wo/Men Collective, which was born from a desire to create collaboratively fervid, humorous, and idiosyncratic devising processes with multi-fielded artists.

Frank Wo/Men Collective is a group of multidisciplinary artists based in Austin, Texas and New York City. The collective crossbreeds fresh assemblages of talent and enthusiasm with each collaborative new work, underpinning their shared values of social awareness, intersectional feminism, androgyny, body positivity, and life choice acceptances.
