The Competition is an intriguing, behind-the-scenes documentary of a competition between “starchitects” Jean Nouvel, Frank Gehry, Dominique Perrault, Zaha Hadid, and Norman Foster, who have been invited to propose designs for the future National Museum of Art in Andorra.
Directed by architect Angel Borrego Cubero and filmed inside the architects’ offices and at the jury, The Competition makes for compulsive viewing. (2013, 95 min.)
