Rooftop Sessions

Free and open to everyone! Admission is walk-up only, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join us on the rooftop overlooking downtown, where music and complimentary drinks will set the vibe for an electric night of sound, art, and camaraderie.

Begin with an after-hours exploration of the exhibition Tarek Atoui: The Whisperers on both floors, then head to the roof and connect with fellow art and music lovers from all over Austin. The Contemporary will partner with Me Mer Mo in curating themed selections of local labels, synth builders, and DJs. This month explore Darkwave music, featuring Holodeck Records, Somatic, Sepat Tapes, Grendel, and Rare Waves electronic instruments, with music by DJ Amber Goers.
