Teacher Workshop: Art in Nature + Natural Phenomena

Explore art that responds to nature, including the new installation Canopy Tower by artist John Grade. We will focus on the world around us to create a work of art with local artist Shalena White inspired by natural phenomena and the many site-specific works at the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria.

Receive lesson plans, engage in hands-on activities, and discuss ways to incorporate contemporary art into your classroom. Earn Continuing Professional Education credit, transportation reimbursement, and a half-day substitute reimbursement for attending a Teacher Workshop.
