Teacher Workshop: Memories and Makings

Teacher Workshops provide interactive training and resource materials for teachers from all subject areas and grade levels. Austin ISD, Round Rock ISD, and surrounding district teachers who attend a Teacher Workshop are eligible for free bus transportation and reimbursement to the school for a half-day substitute. Earn Continuing Professional Education credits (CPEs) for attending a workshop. Receive teacher lesson plans, engage in hands-on activities, learn about booking docent-led tours, and discuss strategies for incorporating contemporary artists and their works into your classroom.

Memories and Makings

Explore Do Ho Suh’s exhibition of translucent interiors, domestic specimens, and fantastical drawings. Create a work of art with artist Kat McTee, inspired by Suh’s innovative use of fabric and stitching. Receive lesson plans, engage in hands-on activities, and discuss ways to incorporate Do Ho Suh and his exhibition into your classroom.
