Teacher Workshop: With Liberty and Justice for All: Past and Present Works in Progress

This event is for current classroom teachers only. FREE, register online

Educators, please join us for a dynamic evening at the LBJ Presidential Library and The Contemporary Austin. We’ll look back into the past and contemplate the future of civil rights and social justice and explore the connections between history and contemporary art by examining the legacy of President Johnson and visiting The Contemporary Austin's rooftop sculpture With Liberty and Justice for All (A Work in Progress) by artist Jim Hodges.

Be the first to learn about our dual-site tour program investigating social justice and civil rights and how to schedule single or dual tour experiences at one or both locations.

The workshop is for current classroom teachers only and it is free to attend. Refreshments will be served. All participating teachers will receive lesson plans and field trip cost reimbursements. Complimentary parking will be available at the LBJ Presidential Library with a shuttle to and from The Contemporary Austin’s Jones Center (700 Congress Avenue).
