Teens Create: Rooftop JustUs

¡Hola! Do you see yourself wanting to share your joys, frustrations, and hopes of today? Are you looking for a space to feel inspired?

Join us for a Teen Night of activities on the rooftop that delves deeper into Jim Hodges’s outdoor sculpture With Liberty and Justice for All (A Work in Progress). The evening will provide space for youth voices and to pose questions about today’s society.

Whether you are introverted or extroverted, come partake in an open (-minded) mic event, with a supportive environment intended to let teens speak their mind and express creatively.

Activities will include:

  • Community (Come-in-Unity) Conversation, 6:30–7P
  • Open (-minded) mic event, 7:30–9P
  • Short films by Creative Action’s Youth Cinema Collective, 7:30-9P
  • Chalkboard community wall
  • Art making including buttons, design-your-own-book, letterpress, and free zines designed by the Teen Council

Join in all of the fun and enjoy snacks while exploring the museum, with the galleries open late!

Created by teens for teens, open to ages 13–19.
