Shelley Wood grew up on the coast of Texas and earned a BFA  from the University of Texas. Shelley has work in private and public collections, has received two Cultural Contracts from the City of Austin and a Partners in the Arts and Humanities award. She continues to create and exhibit work while sharing her love for photography through teaching, including at The Contemporary Austin Art School. Her home and studio, Lamwood Ranch, east of Austin, is the source of much of her inspiration.
