EVENT DETAILS
2014 marks the 25th anniversary of La Dolce Vita Food and Wine Festival. What began as a small food and wine tasting on the shores of Laguna Gloria has become one of Austin’s most anticipated fall events. La Dolce Vita showcases the finest restaurants and wineries Central Texas has to offer, with all proceeds supporting innovative museum education programs that serve thousands of children and adults each year.
Guests will enjoy tastings from more than 50 restaurants and wineries, sampling the creations of some of Austin’s most talked-about chefs, winemakers, pastry chefs, and food and drink entrepreneurs. Participating restaurants will be listed on thecontemporaryaustin.org as they are confirmed and include Austin favorites such as Ranch 616, Salty Sow, and Swift’s Attic, new hot spots such as Chavez, and wine produced right here in the Texas Hill Country. Also available are tickets to the Cocktail Lounge, with specialty cocktails by four of Austin’s most accomplished mixologists, curated by Tipsy Texan David Alan. Guests will also enjoy live art demonstrations by Art School faculty members and fresh beats all night long courtesy of DJ Hear No Evil.
