At The Contemporary Austin, we are committed to making our exhibitions and programs accessible for all visitors.
If you have any questions about accessibility at either of our locations, contact our Visitor Engagement team at [email protected] or by phone at 512.453.5312 (Jones Center) or 512.458.8191 (Laguna Gloria).

Service animals are welcome at the Jones Center.

Please note our ADA-accessible pathways, as marked on our map of the grounds, includes the ADA-accessible ramp. Check-in at the Visitor Center for help planning your route, or call 512-458-8191 with any questions ahead of your visit.
Service animals are welcome at Laguna Gloria. Additionally, leashed pets may accompany guests on the Laguna Gloria grounds. Please keep all pets away from the sculptures and be respectful of the wildlife and ecology of the site.

We’re excited to be working with KultureCity to create sensory inclusive experiences with sensory bags containing noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, weighted lap pads, and visual tools, as well as dedicated quiet spaces for respite.
Specialized EnChroma glasses are available. These optimized lenses selectively filter light to increase contrast between red and green color signals for richer, more vibrant art viewing.
We’ve partnered with Clovernook to translate exhibition and visitor materials into Braille.
We offer free admission and regularly scheduled access tours at both locations.
Through the Museums for All program, we extend free admission to anyone currently receiving SNAP benefits.
Admission is always free Wednesday evenings at the Jones Center and Thursdays at both locations.
Our Visitor Engagement team leads Spanish language tours, Stroller-friendly tours, and ASL tours through collaborations with Austin Community College’s ASL student interpreters as well as certified interpreters through Ploeger ASL Interpreting. Visit our events page for details on upcoming tours.
