Beginning Metalworking
Adults
Learn welding, cutting, and grinding as you create steel sculptures in this foundational class. Basic MIG welding and fabrication techniques will be taught. Safe work practices will be taught and emphasized throughout the class. This class must be completed before taking advanced metalwork classes.
Students who need to miss either of the first two sessions should not register for the course.

All supplies provided! Please wear appropriate clothes for an art studio. Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required for wood, metal, stone, or other sculpture classes. Eye and ear protection is provided, but some students prefer to bring their own which you are welcome to do.
