Botanical Painting

Adults

Students may paint in oil or acrylic. Learn how to paint botanical subjects in a realistic manner. Experiment with traditional and contemporary styles, with individual feedback and demonstrations. Take inspiration from Laguna Gloria’s beautiful grounds as you gain skills in painting with realism. Projects include indirect painting (layers and glazing, old master style) and quick and loose alla prima style.
