Collage Fodder

Adults

In collage and mixed media art, fodder refers to the collection of painted papers, printed textures, vintage ephemera, and handmade elements used to create layered artwork. In this class, students will build their own unique stash of collage fodder using acrylic paint, gel plate printing, stamping, watercolor, and resist techniques. They'll then use their handmade papers and embellishments to create a small series of original collages in class. Students will leave with a generous collection of custom collage materials to inspire future projects at home.
