Moving with Nature: Dance and Cyanotype

Adults

Students will learn the basics of cyanotype printing, preparing and applying cyanotype solution, and creating compositions using organic materials collected around the grounds of Laguna Gloria. Students will participate in group, partner and solo movement exercises, collaborating with each other, plants, and other natural and sensory elements and experiment with improvisational composition in a postmodern dance context. Our day will conclude with a large-scale collaborative cyanoprint on fabric that we create together by making a dance. All experience levels welcome.
