New Approaches to Drawing from Observation (online)

Adults

In this course students will explore a number of techniques and approaches to drawing real-world subjects that are physically in front of you. You will learn how to look at the physical world and capture a sense of space and light and believable everyday subjects. Observational drawing is the foundation of all visual art disciplines and this course will help develop a visual language that will positively inform all your other work. Students will be exposed to historical and contemporary examples of artists and artwork that engage with the genre of still life and observational drawing in innovative and compelling ways.
