The Artist’s Approach: Exploring Artists and Their Methods (online)

Adults

This class explores different approaches to artmaking through the work of selected artists. Each week focuses on one artist, examining their style, techniques, and the ideas behind their work. Following the introduction, students will complete a studio project inspired by aspects of the featured artist’s practice. These projects are not intended as direct copies, but as opportunities to experiment with new approaches and apply them in an individual way. This class is open to beginners and advanced artists who are interested in building skills while exploring different artistic styles. The course is designed to help students develop greater visual awareness, technical confidence, and an understanding of how artists’ ideas and processes can inform their own work.
