Weaving: Beginning and Beyond

Adults

No experience is necessary, but prior experience is welcome. With weaving experts Inga Marie Carmel and Sue Morton, learn how to make cloth on a loom. You will learn how to plan a project, choose yarns, warp and set up the loom, and, of course, weave itself. We'll discuss how color works in weaving and the properties of different types of fiber. Most students complete two or three projects using our simple, versatile, and portable looms; loom rental is included in the supply fee.

Note: Two extra spots reserved for students with their own loom. Please call the Art School to inquire and waive loom rental fee.
