Camp Whimsy, co-presented by Thee Gay Agenda

Lace those boots up! It’s time to go to Camp Whimsy — a summer-camp-themed variety show hosted by Thee Gay Agenda. This one-night-only line-up of queer artists and performers brings an evening of comedy, drag, and oh-so-much more. Doors open at 7:30, when you can make your way to the Rooftop to enjoy some playful activities and browse locally made goods while sipping a complimentary cold drink. Enjoy a set by DJ Double Trouble as we sit back and celebrate queerness together before the show starts at 8P. Dressing to the theme is encouraged.

General Admission includes 2 drink tickets.

VIP tickets get the best seats in the house — a stage-side table for 2, 4 drink tickets, 2 raffle tickets, free merch, and a one-year dual membership to The Contemporary Austin valued at $85 each.

All are welcome! This event will be ASL interpreted! Masks are optional outdoors and encouraged indoors. Vaccinations are encouraged. COVID precautions subject to change based on community transmission risk level (based on APH guidelines). Alcohol will not be served without proof of age. ABOUT THEE GAY AGENDA: Thee Gay Agenda (TGA) is a queer art collective from Austin that’s been putting on bold, expansive, and very gay shows since 2019. TGA exists to give more queer artists a platform and to make space for otherness everywhere.

ABOUT THE PERFORMERS:
Channing Ate ‘Em is a POC Trans masc entertainer. He’s a drag king, a vocalist, and a cast member of Oil Can Harry’s Kingdom.

Irielle Wesley is a Black, queer stand-up comedian who’s been performing on Thee Gay Agenda since our first show in 2019. She hosts her own show at Coldtowne, called Talent Show.

The Era is a Trans woman drag queen. She’s a cast member and hostess of Boyz of Austin.

Azúcar is a queer Latinx burlesque performer and costume maker.

Stephanie Vasquez Fonseca is a queer improviser, comedian, and entertainer.

Creekbed Carter Hogan is a trans bluegrass musician who will be accompanied by their fiddling partner, Abs Kahler.
