Member Movie Night
presented as part of Member Appreciation Week
The Contemporary goes cult classic for Member Movie Night at Laguna Gloria, featuring a screening of Labyrinth under the stars, with complimentary hot dogs, movie-night snacks, and drinks.
The choice of Labyrinth is inspired by artist Laura Lit, whose sumptuous outdoor sculptures are currently on view in HOST: Laura Lit. Along with a background in painting and architectural restoration, Lit also studied special effects makeup for film and television — the culmination of these experiences inform the wide range of materials and fabrication techniques employed in her work.
Plan to arrive early to explore Lit's exhibition and the permanent sculpture collection ahead of the movie screening.
Movie Screening
Let the movie magic begin! At twilight settle in for Labyrinth, a beloved fantasy classic filled with surreal worlds, unforgettable characters, and a little David Bowie sorcery. Please bring a blanket or low-profile chair for seating in the Amphitheater.
Complimentary Concessions
Cue the movie-night snacks! Enjoy hot dogs by Zee’s Wiener System, popcorn by Cornucopia Popcorn, and sweets from Mr. Pickles Candy. Plus, refresh with frozen cocktails and kid-friendly options. All free while supplies last.
Additional food and drink from our on-site cafe Spread & Co. will be available for purchase with 15% off for Members during Member Appreciation Week.
