Members Happy Hour

Join us for a special, family-friendly happy hour inside the Villa at Laguna Gloria. To show our appreciation for your support, we’ll be serving up complimentary cocktails, wine, and beer. Eat, drink, shop, and stroll the grounds of Laguna Gloria with your fellow members.

Then, grab some popcorn and head to the amphitheater for the Green Screen Film Series! In partnership with Austin Film Society, we’ve specially curated a selection of films to showcase as part of our summer film series. Inspired by land art pioneer Nancy Holt’s Time Span, this year’s film series theme is Time Span: Love, Music, & Adventure!

Enjoy a special performance by Sahara Smith from 7pm – 8pm at the Four Seasons. The bar will be available to members only in the Villa from 7-9:30 PM, with the film, Paper Moon (1973) starting at 8:30 PM down at the amphitheater.

Made-to-order snacks will be available for purchase from our on-site café partner, Spread & Co. While you’re here, enjoy your member discount: 10% off all café and Shop at the Contemporary purchases.

Members Happy Hour reservations include entry to the film.

You’ll want to reserve your spots soon, as this event fills up quickly!

About Sahara Smith
Her acclaimed debut album Myth of the Heart, shepherded by producing giant T-Bone Burnett, led her to tour with such acts as Nathaniel Rateliff, Marc Cohn, Mason Jennings, and Los Lonely Boys, and she performed the single Real Thing on the Late Show with David Letterman.

In 2010, Smith swept the Austin Music Awards, winning Best Songwriter, Best Female Vocalist, and Best Folk Act.

After taking a brief hiatus from the industry, Smith is returning to her one true passion and revitalizing her career as a musical artist, performing and recording original material.
