You + The Contemporary Austin = fun for the whole family! Inspired by Carol Bove’s Err on the Side of Gnosis, we’re digging into the connection between math and art with special guest Math Happens.

Join us on the second Saturday of every month for a fun and creative art-making experience at The Contemporary Austin! The whole family is invited to explore new materials, techniques, and ideas together.

About our Community Partners

Founded in fall of 2014, Math Happens has been exploring ideas, strategies, and partnerships to bring math into community conversations – starting in Austin, TX and expanding across the country. Our mission is to promote math literacy by creating and distributing math models and supporting development of mathematical learning experiences outside of the classroom in our public places and spaces.
