Second Saturdays Are for Families: A Virtual Event: Mythical Water Creatures

Since we can’t welcome you to the museum for our monthly Second Saturdays Are for Families program, we invite you to create at home with us!

Take a deep dive into the lagoon this month and invent your own mythical sea creature inspired by Wangechi Mutu’s Water Woman! Transform colorful 2D materials such as paper, fabric and film into 3D forms to build an imaginative mythical sea creature!

Keep your eyes peeled on Saturday, February 13 on our Facebook and Instagram for links to participate in this month’s program!

In the meantime, let the search for your materials begin!
