Join us to make art from nature in nature! Use sunshine to create one-of-a-kind cyanotypes. Then visit our friends at the Austin Public Library’s Bookmobile! Enjoy a summertime stroll through Laguna Gloria to hunt for shadows—how does sunlight play with the sculptures?

On the second Saturday of every month stop by Laguna Gloria for a fun and creative art-making experience at The Contemporary Austin! The whole family is invited to explore new materials, techniques, and ideas together.

About Austin Public Library’s Mobile Library

The Bookmobile is part of Austin Public Library’s Mobile Library fleet, which also includes a Book Trike and a Bike Trailer. It shares books and other items from the collection with the community at non-traditional venues and community events such as senior centers, washaterias or even local festivals.
