The Contemporary’s annual all-ages afternoon of art and amazement!
Join us at Laguna Gloria for our once-a-year afternoon of art and amazement! All proceeds benefit The Contemporary Austin's K-12 arts education programs.
This year, things are getting real -- as in surreal! Embark on a surrealist safari through our 14-acre, lakeside sculpture park with surprising encounters at every turn.
Enter a world of whimsy with spellbinding performances including thereminist Aileen Adler, magician Peter Hinrich, vibraphonist Collin Anderson, The Ruan Sisters, and the world premiere of Flourish! The Musical, a newly commissioned piece by Density 512.
Transform into a fantastical creature with face painting and mask making. Then, let your imagination run wild with critter-themed art making adventures.
And join creative forces with fellow Very 'Rary goers on a collaborative Exquisite Corpse.
With secret passageways, picture-perfect moments, tasty treats galore and more—your magical journey awaits!
