All Paper Dance performances take place in the gallery on the second floor of The Contemporary Austin – Jones Center, 700 Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701. Seating is limited for each performance. Advance tickets for performances are strongly recommended (link to purchase below). Tickets are free with purchase of museum admission (free for museum members).

If a performance is SOLD OUT, guests are invited to join our wait list, which will be available at the Jones Center front desk on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 20 minutes prior to each performance. Seating availability will be determined 5 minutes prior to start time.

Paper Dance: Motherhood

Visitor Information

Doors open 20 minutes before each performance. Five minutes prior to a performance, all advance tickets not seated will be void and released to walk-up visitors. Once the performance begins, there will be no admittance to the gallery. If plans change and you cannot use your ticket, please cancel or reschedule your order by contacting the museum at (512) 453-5312 to ensure that all who want to attend performances have access to tickets.

Performances are approximately an hour in length and contain nudity. Seating is upon wooden art crates padded with blankets (accessibility accommodations are available). Please silence or turn off cell phones during the performances. Taking photographs or recording videos during the performances is prohibited.
