New exhibition merch dropping soon!

Don't miss out on these limited edition exhibition-inspired goodies! For our spring 2025 season, we are thrilled to collaborate with artist Jiab Prachakul on a limited edition blanket featuring her artwork Night Plunge, 2022. This work is one of the many on view in her exhibition Sweet Solitude, which opens at The Contemporary Austin - Jones Center on Jan 31.

We also partnered with Jiab and Austin olfactory purveyor Slow North to produce an essential oil that distills the woody, crisp fragrance of sea fennel. The plant grows in abundance along the coastal Brittany region of France, and more specifically, the seaside town of Vannes where the artist currently resides and makes work.

Around the area where I live in Brittany sea fennel often grows in between rocks (just like its name in French, Perce-pierre, which literally means “piercing rock”). Before and after I swim I love to pick a handful of the sea fennel, crush it, and rub it on my wrists and my neck. When the scent of sea fennel blends with the Brittany sea water a unique odor wafts around me—a souvenir I haven't yet experienced anywhere else. I'm looking forward to trying it soon with the holistic water in Austin. - Jiab Prachakul

We'll be making these available at the opening celebration for our spring 2025 exhibitions on Jan 31, and online and The Shop thereafter -- while supplies last!
