Every first Saturday, meet our family programs team at Lake Austin H-E-B for a morning of artmaking with free art kits to make on-site or take home!

The debut event on Apr 4 (Sat) at 9–11A, takes inspiration from Nancy Holt's Time Span, one of 22 outdoor works at the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria. Holt created and positioned the sculpture so that the shadow cast by the sun aligns with elements in the work every year on her birthday Apr 5.

April's art kit celebrates birthdays and special occasions of all kinds with materials to stamp and design your own wrapping paper using H-E-B brown paper bags.
