The Contemporary Austin returns to Mexico with a two-part journey through Guadalajara (Jan 29–Feb 2) and Mexico City (Feb 2–5). Choose one destination or experience both for a dynamic immersion in the country’s vibrant cultural landscape. Highlights include artist studio visits in Guadalajara with leading voices like Cynthia Gutiérrez, special access to workshops such as Cerámica Suro, and a visit to the historic José Cuervo farm in Tequila. In Mexico City, cap the trip with curated culinary experiences and VIP entry to the Opening of ZⓈONAMACO, Latin America’s premier contemporary art fair.

The Contemporary Austin goes to Pennsylvania for the very first time to experience the 59th Carnegie International, the nation’s longest-running exhibition of global contemporary art! Members of The Contemporary Austin traveled to Santa Fe for the 12th SITE SANTA FE International, with an itinerary featuring 11 SITE venues, an exclusive Q&A with curator Cecilia Alemani, studio visits with the artists Cara Romero and David Benjamin Sherry, and private collection access with Jeanne and Mickey Klein. A curator-led tour at the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian and dining at award-winning restaurants Geronimo and Paloma created an unforgettable experience, deepening connections among artists, curators, collectors, and philanthropist at the center of the art community.
